			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The <strong>Red Reishi mushroom</strong> is regarded as the most powerful of the Chinese mushroom also known as <em>Ling Zhi</em>. It is considered a &#8216;superfood&#8217; because it is so highly nutritious.</p>
<p>As a food, it is rich in protein, contains 18 amino acids, polypeptides, polysaccharides, terpenoids, germanium, vitamins and minerals including potassium, magnesium, calcium and germanium. It contains high levels of antioxidants, which help to destroy cancer-causing free radicals.</p>
<p>It is the polysaccharides (complex sugars) that impart the highest degree of immune support and other benefits. The Red Reishi contains the highest number of polysaccharides of all of the varieties of ganoderma. These high levels of polysaccharides are also responsible for the Red Reishi&#8217;s remarkable detoxifying powers.</p>
